This isn't a very merry day in my neighborhood.

This isn't a very merry day in my neighborhood.
I was up at 5:00AM today on Christmas Eve.
I looked out my window after smelling smoke. All I saw was a strange red hue in the sky and I was hearing helicopters over my head.
Sirens were screaming everywhere.
I looked out the door and a SWAT armored vehicle was going by my home.
SWAT? Are you kidding me, I thought. This was a serious looking large armoured thing, menacing looking.
It was lead by and followed by at least 15 police cars.
Firetrucks were behind, too many to count.
Next thing I saw was the Airport fire truck going past.
That thing is bigger than big, it's huge.
We had some nut killing people less than a mile from my home. He shot 4, killing 2.
And he was burning down houses.
And he was running loose in the neighborhood, trying to escape the law.
I got out my .45 Acp and woke the wife up. She got out her 9 mm and we watched and waited.
We expected the worse might happen.
Anyways to wrap it up, the madman was killed finally. At this time I don't know if police shot him or he shot himself.

This kind of thing has never happened here, it is a small, quiet upscale town...a close knit community.
WTF is happening in this world?

Anyways, Merry Christmas to all of the TPU people.
