RACEDEPARTMENT votes "Game Stock Car" racing GOTY
http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/...-voting.43832/
Game Stock car is leading with only a few hrs to go, so I "assume" it'll win. GSC is a PC only racing sim, which has one of the best sim cars I've ever driven, it's a 1988 F1 Mclaren clone{Senna's car}. The game has 16 tracks and 4 cars, one tin top and 3 open wheelers{F1x2 and the F3000} via FREE DLC....games cost is $30. This game has a good quality MP, but MP isn't busy, so if you plan to buy it, SP should be your focus, but there are private races held. I use a G27 and it works beautifully, and it also has some of the best sounds in a racing game. These guys{Reiza Studio's} are also making a Senna racing game next, but personally, I wish they'd release another 4-5 cars for GSC. Anyway, there's a lot to love about this game, especially if you have a FFB wheel, as that 88 F1 car kicksass bigtime

Huh, never even heard about it.

I know, that's why I thought of advertising it.
It also allows for 34 cars on the grid. But this is a sim, so you really should have a wheel and either know how to drive sims or be prepared to put some time in. Can't wait for the Senna game, I hope they include heaps of diff handling F1 models. |

it makes sense considering who is working on the game. I just wish the graphics were better, but The cars are probably a joy to drive with a steering wheel/pedals.

The GFX of the cars is better than rfactor and most of Simbin, track quality isn't bad, but I agree it could be better, but these guys presumably don't have the money for DX11 gfx, so put all the effort into the physx, sound and FFB.
GTR3, CARS and rFactor2 should all look good, but will any of them top the 88 mclaren from GSC.... Btw, if anyone's reading this and thinking, hey, it looks like a good time to buy a wheel, do yourself a favour and buy a G27....these are excellent wheels for sims, very compatible and have outstanding build quality........buying crap like DFGT or whatever is just a waste of money, money that you could've put into the much superior G27. |

I want GRID 2.
![]() Though, if I'm going to play a sim, iRacing is 2nd to none. I prefer to mess around in real vehicles though so I don't bother paying for iRacing. |

I want a swamp buggy simulator. No joke. One where I can build a buggy be it a weasel, full track or one that uses DC-10 tires.

but but but i have a DFGT ![]() Seriously he is right, i bought the DFGT because i never had a wheel and i wanted something cheaper first, but my next wheel is a G27 for sure. And C.A.R.S. has very good graphics and DX11, i know because i'm playing the BETA right now, I'm also waiting for GTR3.

You should tally up on steam what $50 gets from Simbin, I think you'd get RACE07/GTREVO, RACEON+GT power.... |

GTR3 is the only PC racing sim that I want. To date the only PC sim worth playing (that isn't a pay2play game) is GTR2 and Evo/Race07
I haven't raced in many months as my cockpit needs to be set back up. But when I do set it up GTR is the game I'll be playing. It is getting old though.

i'm sure the trucks will be very realistic as reiza's employees are very knowledgeable and talented. but i wish they'd use a better graphics engine.
Game Stock Car is a really good sim and worth the money, (Really good ffb!) but if it looked as good as pCars, people would be going bananas. |

True, unfortunately for the moment, I think Reiza are a small team and can't dedicate the time/money into DX11 gfx etc, but I for one won't buy GFX over physics when it comes to sim racing. |

GSC only has 4 cars, but they're all good, and the 88 F1 and modern F1 are epic. No question GTR3 will outsell everyone. |
