Batman AA might be tough, maybe on low settings.
Saints row 2 might be a bit harsh, once again on low settings.
Wanted might be terrible because of bad optimization.

Everything else should be good to go, maybe a few will be a bit laggy.

Batman : Arkham Asylum is gonna drag nuts all over your rig.

Sniper : Ghost warrior, and Homefront might also cause you an issue.

Yeah man if you are gonna do any kind of serious new title gaming you need to upgrade sadly. What is good however is most games nowadays are console ports so hardware lasts a LOT longer then it used to. When you are ready man make a thread.

If they're laggy it's not because of hardware but incompatibily with modern Windows versions. Thief 2. ^^

But with lower settings even Batman will run good.

While I find the request of the OP odd I commend you for standing up for your rig. Your 8800GT may need have the resolution down-scaled on a few of the games to accommodate the games which take a lot of power at 1920x1080, but I remember running most of these with few issues on a GTX260 which is a single generation beyond your GFX card.

The TV will upscale 720 pictures just fine. In some instances you would never know the difference.

Yeah I think with most the game scaled down you will be ok. I was just saying any newer games you might want to upgrade in the future. When you do......make a thread and you will get all kinds of ideas.

The games which have been mentioned prior are the only ones which I think will not perform to an enjoyable level.

Only one I can comment on is Sid Meier's Pirates.
Nothing to do with performance but it has no widescreen support.
You will need to get the wide screen application for it.

Do note that OP does not have an 8800GT, rather, he has an 8600GT 512MB. At 1080P, the 8600GT may even struggle with Source games at max setting. Certainly Batman AA and Homefront, and perhaps Ghost Warrior may have to be run at lowest setting to get playable framerate. The CPU isn't doing gaming any favors either, Souce games should be fine though, and certainly older games, like COD, can play played at max or near max setting @1080P.

I was giving a suggestion and you need those two parts upgraded, maybe even the ram, so do not get fresh with me pal.

(When a Machine lags even at minimum settings it is definitely time to upgrade)

I give it so I don't upgrade. If I wanted to upgrade I would have ask so that's why by logic I asked which one of these games will lag so I don't install them.

Another vote for B:AA... The game looks great. Runs like a dream on my system but I can see it having issues with your 2.0 GHz processor.

Because you have a "life" use this = http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri although it doesn't tell if its gonna to be maxed out

Seriously, If you are an experienced user/builder. you could actually guess if a game will run max on your PC or not.

here's my guess, All of those games will be able to run at your PC especially older games, but older games may not support 1080p resolution. Newer games like Homefront, Batman and Saint's Row will run @ 1080p but I'd recommend running them at 720p or lower. you will not be able to totally max out games around 2007 to present.

So you really need to change some parts, upgrade or new build, to play these games at 1080p full graphics.
