Question about Asus GTX 660 Ti BIOS upgrade
Hi! I bought an Asus GTX 660 Ti TOP today (January 2013). I read that it has a BIOS update available, which I applied. However, after the update, the BIOS string reported by Nvidia Inspector/GPU-Z seems to be smaller than previously, namely: 80.04.4B.00.25. The update in question is http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/N...2GD5/#download (Version 1.0)
(Also, the reported string used to have something next to it in parentheses, but doesn't anymore.) So I'm wondering, did I accidentally manage to install an older BIOS or fail in some other manner? Image of said string: http://img.techpowerup.org/130104/nv...104_203106.png Does that look OK? Thanks! Last edited by zfrm; Jan 4, 2013 at 05:46 PM. Reason: forgot link to bios upgrade |
