Samsung with a new policy

SEOUL, Dec 30 Asia Pulse - Samsung Electronics Co. (KSE:05930), the world's largest liquid crystal display (LCD) maker, said Thursday it will offer a so-called zero-pixel-defect warranty for LCD monitors sold in South Korea.

Under the policy, which is to be effective from January 1, Samsung Electronics said it will replace LCD monitors for free if customers find a single defective pixel in the flat-panel screens within six months of purchase.

Well know you can have this in mind when you buy your new LCD monitor from Samsung.
Call me if you travel past Korea anytime soon.

The question is if this policy applies to so called sub-pixel defects as well which are a pain in the ass as well...
