SilverStone Sugo SG10 Packs Enough Room for a Serious Gaming Kick

Responding to the market's newfound love for gaming-grade micro-ATX cases, SilverStone rolled out the Sugo SG10. Don't be fooled by its looks - a HTPC-esque front panel, with a slot-in slimline optical drive bay, this case packs a punch. Its SECC steel frame can hold on to a micro-ATX motherboard, a double-slot graphics card that's 33.7 cm long (a GTX 680 should fit just fine), a forward-located PSU bay (a large 1200W PSU should fit), CPU coolers over 160 mm tall, and a combination of 180 mm top and 120 mm rear exhausts, and a 120 mm front intake.

Leave it up to Silverstone on a sweet itx case design! I have been wanting to build a gaming style itx rig, but most of the cases out there did not of the compatibility features and airflow I was looking for in a case this small. Some windowed side panels would look so sick!!! I can't wait for some reviews.. and if the price is right?

Ohhh so we have an editing error here? Because there is no way that thing is capable of fitting a 680.

Questions:

Most (nearly) of the room in the first case is filled with fans. Overkill?

The SSD in the second case needs cables, but they have to be standard long ones = bad for airflow.

Big question: who will start to offer shorter cables for all parts?

Well since SS is marketing this as a gaming-grade mini-ITX case, I don't agree that the amount of airflow is overkill.

Only the blind cant see that its actualy an SG9 with a fixed front panel and renamed for SG10. Since many people complained how ugly was the front of the SG9 thats the minimum from silverstone to get it fixed.But renaming its to SG10 it lame,and writing another review from it is wasting time.

Internals is quite similar to SG09, but I will be surprised if they didn't do any further tweaks.

the case has been described as having a 140mm top fan (probable AP141). SG09 has 180mm fan. Therefore it has to be mini itx and not just a 're-skinned' SG09.

The description is wrong as it is cause just by looking at the image you can see a 12.7mm slot loading DVD drive which is 129mm wide that means that the top fan cannot be 140mm 1cm more make no difference the fan still a lot wider,they are next to eachother so you can compair them.
Take pictures from sg09 and place it next to the sg10 and compair the size of the components.
By the way i was waiting for this update on this case to pull the triger on it.
Only thing i really hate is the missleading marketing crap.

I really wanted the sg09 due to its layout but hated the front panel.

Silverstone did a similar thing with SG05/06 interms of the front panel design.

I sure hope that PSU mount is strong would hate to have it fall onto the GPU.

Love to see some watercooling mods in this. These smaller cases always look amazing when lit up with clear panels.

Same with the SG07 and SG08. It seems that Silverstone follow a similar naming scheme as VW does with the Golf. Odd numbers are new products and even numbers are refined, facelifted versions of the odd numbered products.
