Netbook constant lag
Hey guys, my sister has a brand new netbook it's a Acer Aspire One 725-0884. Every time she turns it on and try's clicking on My Computer(Or anything else) it starts to lag and ends up have to Force close the program, I've tried to back up all her stuff, but every time it gets to 34% it freezes. It will eventually Un-freeze, but then it gets to 45% and freezes again.
It's almost always at 60% or more CPU usage Disk is 99% Memory is 50%+ I know it's not a fast netbook, but it should be able to handle web browsing and netflix all she does is facebook Etc. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I think possibly some sort of driver issue, if I reformat it does it take away the Warranty? Spec's *AMD C70 1.333 GHz *2 GB DDR3 *HDD 320 GB *1366 x 768 LED EDIT: Going to My Computer then clicking on (C: ) drive it took 70Sec. for it to load. Every time time I try and open a folder it say Not Responding and takes over 1 min.

If it's not malware (which you should scan for), I'd check for bad HDD sectors.
2GB RAM isn't much if the OS has any visual themes, but just opening My Comp shouldn't take anywhere near that long. |

uninstall all the shite thats not needed, so nothing running in task manager you dont really need. then tweak windows i.e turn off themes, drive indexing, aero, bla bla..
make it slick C: = 60% + free disc space.. and more. run ccleaner on it. |

I'm going to boot to safe mode first to see if I can get the rest of her stuff off of it first. their is like 10 files it's not letting me move...
I think safe mode for W8 is Shift + F8 while booting
