shows a massive crysis performance for the 690 but none for the 670? so if you have a single card is this worth getting for crysis 3?

Probably not it just adds a new SLI profile for SLI users which was not present nor working when the alpha came out.

Did ATI release Crossfire drivers yet? or was crossfire working in the alpha? for crysis 3?

Looks like this is to the GTX 6** series as 12:10/11 was to the HD 7*** series performance wise.

Either way I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that so long after launch the devs can magically get so much more performance from their hardware by tweaking drivers, does make one wonder if they are hindered on purpose just to get one over on the other team when they magically increase their performance

It just means that Crysis 3 has proper SLI support. With a single card the performance is fine right now.

It is interesting that when you go through the normal process to find beta drivers these don't show up. The only way to get them is to go directly to the driver page linked in the original post.

These aren't specific to crysis 3, they bring other improvements as well, but crysis is the main improvement.

No matter what I select on that page, the 313.95 drivers never show up, that was my point.
