What do most tpu members like to play online?

I have a steam account now, ug, against my principles, but I did it anyways. Have metro, and red faction, but probably not many members bother with those online. I like first person shooters, what do you guys like the most, I'll try to buy it cheap.... Until now, my mp experience is only in flying sims. Just think I'd like to expand a bit. And hopefully get some tpuers to show me the ropes....
Edit: should mention I'd like to play with other members of tpu online.... thanks Taco, I'll check arma2.

Hmm, BF3 eh? My system can run it at almost all ultra settings now. Guess I'll send funds to my paypal, and wait for a sale on it.

you can get BF3 premium edition CD-keys pretty cheap at CJS

With the premium edition you pretty much have access to all the expansion packs that have been released todate.

and in case you are worried about CJs - they are legit, have purchased from them quite a few times now and i regularly check their site for prices when i find a game that im interested

::EDIT::

I dont think im breaking any forum rules by promoting CJs as they arent a warez and hackz site. all the keys they sell are legit. just incase a mod might get a little curious....

Have to wait until I get my gov cheque next week, then another 9 days to get it to my paypal.. arg.
Edit: and I might as well buy from steam, not too sure about cjs....
Edit2: okay, I still don't know too much about steam, if I got from cjs, it's still steam, right?

I have no credit to speak of, and I don't like credit cards. I'd get waaaay to in the hole! I'm thinking a prepaid card though, but that's like 35 bucks up here just to activate. Sucks being poor....

Yes, quite honestly I'd rather just buy straight from steam, I know what I'm getting.

UK based site/business - they also have 9.2/10 on trustpilot out of 4,200 reviews

They are a legit business. I purchased 2 farcry 3 keys from them, my BF3 premium key and some other games. always delivered and their games always worked

I'm in Canada though, so I should buy over here, much easier. The titles I got dled quickly, and work, that's all I want!

It doesnt matter where you buy it from - all youre getting is the CD/serialkey. obviously if you want a hardcopy then they will send that to you if you specify it - its more about just getting the CD-Key for most people.

If youre still worried - they have 28,233 likes on FB

I have no complaint about that, in fact I now like it. If I lose my hard copy, it doesn't matter, I can just dl it again. It's actually a good thing!
Edit: as Martha Stuart says: It's a good thing!
And I used to hate this format. You guys convinced me finally....
