Which SSD?

I'm buying a new laptop (selling my old one). I was using a 120GB Intel 320 Series SSD. For the sale I've put a normal 500GB wd caviar blue disk in because leaving the SSD in there would make the computer look worse on paper (120gb vs 500gb) and I want to sell it for as much as possible...

Anyway, I'm buying a new laptop (leaning toward this one right now)...

And I may want to take that 1TB 5400RPM drive out there and put an SSD in there. Should I re-use my existing SSD (120GB Intel 320 Series SSD) or get a new one. I'd like just a little more storage, 180GB-240GB is still (barely) within budget, and I'm thinking I may as well take that opportunity to get a new SSD and upgrade the capacity just a little bit...
Of course then I'd sell the old to help pay for the new one.

The Neutron GTX 240GB is a pretty good deal, but if it goes back up in price, go for the Samsung 840 250GB. The Neutron GTX (the GTX is important) is faster, but has a little less space. They will both fare better with incompressible data than Sandforce drives, and they should have slightly better reliability.

The Intel SSD's are very reliable, but quite overpriced.

If you can make do with the 120GB of SSD space, your current 320 series drive is probably fine. Any SSD is leagues ahead of a mechanical drive anyways.

In any case, if you want a laptop that can do any gaming, bump the laptop up to something with a dedicated GPU. If not, that is a good choice.

If you are shooting for the below 200GB range I say just re-use your existing Intel 320 SSD. I would get a 250GB+ SSD for a laptop as space will run out quickly. As far as brand. I tend to stick with Samsung or Intel.

I'm leaning toward to this: Corsair Neutron Series GTX CSSD-N240GBGTXB-BK Sol...
It will be really nice to have double the storage.

I have to sell my existing laptop and finish my friend's website before I get the new laptop - the new SSD will follow shortly after if I'm not happy with the 1TB 5400RPM drive it comes with. Chances are I won't be, but we'll see...

I recommend this. It's a little more then the Corsair but the write speed is faster.
