Hd 7850 2gb or 7870 2gb..

Hey guys im really confused on what to get as i have a screen that only supports dvi..
My max resolution i get from it is 1366 x 768...so question is what would be better for me?
I Wont be getting a new screen till i next get my paypacket which would be a full 1080p monitor..but for now what would you say?!

With the current monitor the 7850.
For the 1080p monitor the 7870.

Personally I would just go ahead and get the 7870 since you are planning to get a 1080p in the near future.

go for the HD 7870 Tahiti as its same price as the HD 7870 but performs better and gives the performance of a HD 7950

7870 is a great card for 1080P gaming, as durvelle suggested, a 7870 LE would be the best option but if one cant be found a 7870 2GB will more than suffice.
