Do you plan to play with 3D?
If not I would go with the 1440...

They make 3D clip-on glasses, its what I use with my Dads 3D movies cause I wear big thick glasses myself.

Internally they are the same. B grade means you might get several dead pixels though. I'm not sure if they are covered in the warranty.

+1: Best advice right here. If you don't need the higher refresh rate you're going to love the higher resolution. Either way, be prepared to get a nice display.

Yeah I did the same choice a few months ago. Went for a 24" 16:10 IPS screen instead of 3D and I think it was a wise choice since I don't watch any 3D stuff plus now I got better colours than classic LCD yey! When I bought my older Samsung LCD 4 years ago I thought I had a good screen. Well now I know lol... thought I'm pretty sure that even plain LCD LED screens at £150 do a better job than those older models.
