3Mbit DSL
Pros- Cheap at $30 a month, maximum download speed 350MB/s, reliable, fast upload speed, gets the job done. Cons- My IP address has a habit of changing daily, and that wreaks havok with my DNS settings (people try to join my games at soupersmartkyd.homeip.net and get nowhere lol). Overall I'm very satisfied with my DSL.

1Mb down/300Kb up ADSL from Telefónica at about 36-38€ (I don't remember now)
Pros: all national phone calls included for free, the most stable service provider, working 364 days/year usually, unrestricted traffic Cons: it's the most expensive offer, but you pay for stability

Soon to get Sky Broadband
£10 a month with any tv subscription. Upto 16mbit per second unlimited subject to fair use policy, I think i should be able to get a 10mbit line connection. But at the moment, Telewest Blueyonder 4Mbit connection for £25 a month. Pros: Extremely solid with no drop in download or upload speeds and truly unlimited. Cons: Expensive as you can see. HOWEVER, http://translate.google.com/translat...lr%3D%26sa%3DG If only i lived in France. |

I have Cox Communications here in Arizona.
12mb Download/1mb Upload Only $59.99 USD a month. But I save since I have Cox Telephone(4), HDTV DVR (2), HDTV Box (1), and High Speed Internet. Pros: Fast, reliable, great tech support, Motorola SurfBoard Modem, works well with other routers Cons: Not exactly the cheapest, but since I have bundled up all of their services, really cheap I guess... |
