Hi. Will the GTX 770 bottleneck my i5 3450? What do you think? I play at 1920x1080. Thanks

doesnt make sense as gaming doesnt require much cpu power these days.

but the answer is yes.

Depends on game. In general, the bottleneck will not affect the final outcome at 1080p.

Depends on the game. In most cases I'd say no - the CPU will be the bottleneck at that low resolution. But it really doesn't matter, that rig will be OTT for 1080p for years. I'd consider a (much) cheaper GPU if you haven't bought the 770 yet.

Many people said me that GTX 770 is ok for my CPU. Are they wrong?

No, they're not wrong. It'd be a decent match. It's just a lot of money to invest in a rig for 1080p gaming. There might be a handful of AAA games (BF3, Metro Last light, Crysis 3) where you would be able to go for 8xMSAA and "ultra" settings where with a 750Ti you could only have 4xMSAA and "very high" settings. But how much is that worth to you?

IMO will be fine but it is a bit overkill for your CPU. There is always a bottleneck somewwhere...

Yes. I think that I will wait for 750TI or 760. Thank you.

What do you mean with "IMO"?
