problem with atitool

hello,
when I install atitool0.24 the first time all functions normally.
and when my computer start again I have the following message:
“The Kernel mode driver does not seem to be running. A device driver is required for communication with your video hardware.”
and atitool does not function any more!!!

i don't understand, please help me...

AMD 2800+
asrock k7se
ram:1024
ati x800 xt awi
windows xp sp2

I installed last pilot ATI 6.10, and the problem disappeared.
