Quick quesion on old old old AGP-cards..
Like, j0.
![]() I have an old Riva 128 VIVO-card, AGP. It's 3.3V right? And that makes it unnusable on which mobos? I know that mobos with 1.5V on the AGP-slot together with 3.3 AGP-cards is a bad idea, but how do I know which mobos/AGP-slots are 3.3V and which ones are 1.5V? EDIT: I assume all AGP 8x-slots are 1.5V.. And AGP x4.. Or am I wrong?

Probably the first AGP boards that came with the slotted P2 ports also have those 3.3v AGP.
The only reason I would carry a card like your would be for nostalgy, because really it's worthless.

Yeah, it's worthless, but it has tons of VIVO-stuffz on it. Plus it was very cheap. It's usable when building routers, firewalls, printservers and so on..
![]() But I think AGP 1/2x is 3.3V while 4/8x is 1.5V.. I just give it a shot and see how it goes.

3.3V isn't supported on modern board, AGP 8x uses 0.8V and is backward compatible with 1.5V. Not sure if AGP 4x ports can run 3.3V cards though. The card shouldn't fit at all if it's not supported.
