Microsoft Zune currently incompatible with Windows Vista
When you try to install the software for Microsoft Zune on a machine running Windows Vista RTM, you get the following error message. "This operating system is currently not supported by Zune." According to Microsoft, you can only run the Zune software on Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Media Center Edition 2005 Rollup 2.

Indeed. I was gonna post this, but I knew someone would too...
Oddly suggestive picture, and it not working in vista without setting it to compatability mode... Hmm.. all those zune fans seem to be disappearing rather quickly. So much for the "ipod killer".

Wow, even I can't run it since I have SP1 (for some reason Windows corrupts when I install SP2)

He personally requested it reset, I'm thinking he's the first user to get 4,000 posts

Yeah, I got it reset, but oh well...I'll get it up soon, sometimes I hold back on posting, but at 16 a day, I'll be there in no time!
And Jimmy, I only tried it when I had all this stuff installed, but I don't want to lose everything now because I don't have a backup HD yet. |

Microsoft are noobs. Thats why they pwn 90% of the OS market
As for the incompatability issue, the final release of Vista isnt even available until Nov. 30th, im sure the Zune will run fine on that. But i agree, the last beta of an OS right before release should be compatable with most software |
