Catalyst 5.2

Today ATI released Version 5.2 of their Catalyst Driver Suite.

The most interesting changes are:
  • The CATALYST™ Software Suite 5.2 introduces 3D setting options to the CATALYST™ CONTROL CENTER system tray.
  • Efficiency improvements in vertex processing have produced performance enhancements in key applications such as Far Cry and 3DMark05 on RADEON™ X850, X800 and X700 series products
  • Far Cry "Regulator" and "Volcano" scores are up as much as 20% on RADEON™ X800 PRO at 1600x1200 resolution
  • 3DMark05 gains range from 1-3% on RADEON™ X800 series products to as much as 9% on some RADEON™ X700 configurations

Wholy s***... I've just downloaded the 5.1 version.. ... maybe I'll wait for the next release..

This version catalyst deosnt work in my computer. Affter installed, computer initiated an error "driver is not yet installled/broken"

The Softmodded Catalyst Package or patched ati2mtag.sys + original Catalyst Package 5.1 and 5.2 doesn`t work. Only 5.1 softmodded Display Driver works for me.

ATI also released Windows XP 64-Bit Edition - BETA 4 Driver yesterday.
