System Specs

Socket 478 3.0GHz

i've had this for a while, its on a foxconn mobo, my concern is that it runs very hot, should the fans be pointed out or only the front pointed in or what...?
i've tried both and couldn't make up my mind

I wouldn't think a sempy would run at 90C. That seems pretty hot for an AMD chip.

Nevermind, you're talking about a p4? I was looking at your system specs.

Not sure what the temperature ceiling is on a p4, but that still seems really hot regardless of what chip it is...

i would think it would top out at 90c and give you some stability issues. i happen to own a socket 478 3.0ghz p4 myself and they get pretty hot sometimes and ive never seen one get that hot before.
