1302MHz memory modules being revealed next week
Patriot Memory has said that it intends to demonstrate the world’s fastest memory modules at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show. The DDR2 modules run at 1302MHz and are referred to as Extreme Performance PC2-10100, with the Silicon Valley manufacturer hoping to have working displays at the show. In reality these are simply are overclocked DDR2 modules which is likely to lead to much more heat being produced - Corsair’s 1111MHz equivalent requires heatsinks and three 40mm fans.

what's the point even the 965 and 680i are limited on how high you can go. These appear to be boarding DDR3 IMO.

Well from what I've read the extra speed isn't worth the money considering a faster CPU or GPU would have more effect, but if anyone is looking to get the fastest system money can buy, this would be where to look.

These are nice. Maybe patriot will come up with a thing to keep them cool. I think Corsair did theirs to offer more bang for the outrageous price and such. These are actually pretty cool, but I though Nvidia's new things were supposed to take advantage of SPD and such.
