X800 Pro Vivo Mod Help needed
I just installed a "refurbished" X800 pro vivo card. It's 256 MB PCI-E version. I've tried just about every possible thing I could find on this and other forums to unlock the 4 extra pipes. The atiflash program said the card was now a 4A50 version, but after rebooting into windows It says its a 5549 card. It says only 12 pipelines, no matter what bios I install. I tried the gigabyte bios, the x800xt bios, and even just modifying the original bios with the hex editor. When using the x800xt bios it defaults to 520/560 (which I have to slow down to 500 to avoid locking up). Even though it overclocks it, I cant figure out how to just get the full 16 pipelines... Please help, its driving me crazy

ok, after trying a few other bios files, it appears that the device id doesnt change. It will sometimes change to a different id, but always to a model that is normally only 12 pipelines. I dont know if i need to erase the current bios completely first? Plz help
