I wanna MOD my X1600 Pro 512mb

Weeeeee!, My first Post.... Anyway, I wanna see If anyone has a X1650 Pro 512mb DDR2 Bios. I know most X1650's have GDDR3 but a select few, have the exact specs as a regular X1600 Pro 512 mb with DDR2 except the 100mhz Higher core clock. I been having trouble keeping my OC with 3rd party tools. If anyone has it I would be a very happy camper!

I don't think 1650pro bios work in x1600pro.

I have x1600 pro 512MB AGP, and I change stock cooler to zalman VF900CU-LED. Look my signature on how much I can oc my core and mem.

Regards,
Arto.

The X1650 Pro is a X1600XT which is standard to have DDR3.
The X1600 Pro aka X1300XT has DDR2 as standard.
The memory must be the same for the X1650Pro bios to work.

thanks for the replies. I know most X1650 Pros are X1600XT's basically, BUT they do have some that are exact spec as X1600 Pro 512 mb with just DDR2 (HIS) and (DIAMOND) are 2 that make them. Im hoping I'll get lucky and someone who has obtained one of these cards will let me know. I could just MOD my own bios clocks myself and reflash, but it would be nice to bump to a X1650 Pro with just a BIOS flash.

Uh no way it will work... X1600PRO uses a totally different core compared to the X1650PRO... Just saying it, because I don't like people coming back and screaming when they have totally bricked their card. Flashing a compatible bios with a bad flash is okay because you can do something, but flashing an incompatible one WILL kill the card and void your warranty.

thanks for the replies, as far as flashing, I've made my share of "expensive paperweights" . And yes the core is slightly different, But It may or may not work. I think it will But, If I don't get to try it, it's OK. I have a couple of these cards laying around so I was going to experiment. I may just MOD my own BIOS and reflash. the main thing I have trouble with is sometimes my OC's won't hold when I enter my games. If I obtain a BIOS and try it, I'll let everyone know If it works.
