Pimp your G15 LCD.

I just bought a G15 (also got the other day a MX518, which in my opinion is much better than the G5/7) today and I gotta say that this is one friggen neat keyboard with a lot of potential.

First thing was to get that LCD screen in use...so I took someones template and started to customize it. It is god dam easy to do this with LCDStudio 2.0.

It has full compatibility with ATItools, speed fan, and much more.

Anybody have some L33T LCDS?

---------------------------------------------------------------

Attached is my LCD save.

1) You will need LCDStudio 2.0 ( http://www.lcdstudio.com/site20/home.php )

2) Also, included in the ZIP are the Fonts used (you will need to extract that in the font folder in control panel)

3) You will have to edit the network so it can read your own NIC.

4) Get speedfan and atitools to use all functionality.

5) you may have to edit couple of the reading so that it matches your system (ie. for me, temp2 in speed fan is cpu temp; but sometimes temp1 is cpu temp...also things like what hard drive to get info off, etc...ask me if you have some questions.)

Enjoy.

btw, my name has been remove, now it is TPU! for generic purpose for this forum.

Hey that's cool. There are lots of LCD profiles for that keyboard, logitech, AMD, WOW, COD, and lots more, just search the I-net.

check out g15forums.com. They have tons of applet and templates for LCD studio. This is my favorite one right now. If you are a CS:S player, checkout Echovoice Gamer Statistics. It lists your weapons and stats.

Anybody know how to get Gmail working with the POP3 monitor? The problem is that gmail uses a SSL (secure socket layer) and some how I cannot configure that.

edit: nm..found the fix.

It is very neat...

the G15 is no better than a regular keyboard...it specialties are having on-the-fly programmable macros keys, lumination, and the lcd screen. Usually you can find this keyboard on sale for 50-60 bucks and is well worth it.

Well I have a licence for my Everest because to me it is an essential program(it replaces MBM5 IMO and then some)
Basically Everest gives you a blank Rectangle that you can put whatever monitoring Info available to it.

Dude, you rock for two reasons. 1) I am just now looking at a G15 and you have one already and 2) You play ArmA!!
