Need Help

Hi guys. I have a radeon 9600se card. And i bought a new motherboard and processor(intel). I got everything set up, but my system wont boot up with the vid card. Now my bro has the exact same video card, and i put it in and tried booting up, and it works. Worked with my old geforce card aswell. So i thought the video card maybe died or somthing. So i stuck in in the system with the old motherboard i used to have(the motherboard it was in before). And it booted up fine. Is there anyway that i can get this card to boot up with my new system?
thanks for any help you guys can give

Maybe

Not sure if this will help, but that happened to me a few years ago when my motherboard had on-board video. If it does you can disable usually with a jumper.

Its wierd that it happens with the same graphics card... there must be a fault somewhere in your one I'd guess? Try using a completely different type of video card a see what happens.

See if your old mobo and your bro has AGP 4X, if your new got 8X, it may be a problem there.

insert your bro's card, go to bios and force AGP 4X.
then insert your card.

if not, try selecting the : safe default setting for your mobo. Or do a mobo-reset.
