Anybody looking forward to LotRO?
Lord of the Rings Online for those wondering. Screenshots are looking pretty good, from what I've seen posted.

It looks nice, but it has monthly fees, and i bet it wont have a large community as WOW or guildwars...
i have a feeling its gonna be another flop like RF Online |

Yeah, it's going to be a MMO. I don't know, Tolkien has a HUGE following. I mean, practically everybody who plays WoW or EQ2 or whatever, likes the LotR. And if I had to "imagine" what the closed beta is like, I'd "imagine" that it's similar to a blending of WoW and EQ2, but with it's own style and LotR storyline.

i played the beta and its not that great. it does have potential though, compared to wow it sucks

running an online game is gonna cost you money (servers, maintenance, bandwidth, in-game support). if you have money you can provide a better quality service to gamers.
considering how many hours you are going to play a good online game it is worth the money imo |

Idk, it was really slow to me, and un fun, really reminded me of DnD:O And that right there was a bad game, also the combat isnt very fun, its like o mash this button mash that one, no cooldowns or anything of the like
