Good point and 7 months is a long time to be behind, may I ask though if you have conveniently forgot that Intel were behind for some 3 and a half years before Conroe.....I doubt very much that AMD will be able to get anywhere near that far behind.

why good point how is amd always behind? amd has been kicking intels ass for a long time, just look at the athlon vs the p4 and the dual cores its only with the conroes that intel have come back to take the top spot

lol isnt that what I said above? His was a good point that AMD IS 7 months behind at the moment (because he is right), I think I pointed out that Intel were 3 and a half years behind prior to that.

C2D isnt 1st gen its based off Pentium m and Core duo which makes it 3rd gen
