Corrupt files

Hello,
I asked a few months ago on what new pc to build now after reading on the forums ive bought and build what i have now ( check specs ), after i installed all my stuff i.e mp3 players n such i try to install 3d mark eve-online directx update etc, it gives me a message saying that the file is corrupt and thats with everyone of them , if anyone has has this prob or knows how to fix it id marry u if ud help me .

System Specs

Do you have Nvidia ActiveArmor firewall installed? A friend of mine was having similar problems where everything he downloaded was corrupt. We finally discovered ActiveArmor (or whatever Nvidia calls their firewall) was the source of the problem.

Agreed, & 2nd'ing your motion!

That's been a long noted problem in NVidia's firewall program they ship w/ their chipset drivers & utilities CD's for new systems or mobos.

(Hopefully, they've fixed it though, by now @ least)

Yeah i had nvidia firewall installed, uninstalled that and got a download manager all working sweet , this is why i love techpower up
