9800 Pro or 6600GT

Hey guys im new to this forum & forgive me for being a simpleton but i just cant make my mind up on the following two cards
Opinions would be very helpfull

6600GT Card:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?NOV-GF66GT

OR

9800 PRO card:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...tml?HIG-98ICEQ

Im inclined to the 9800 with that lovely cooling system but its more expensive (on a £150/$280 budget) & what do i know!?

Get the 6600GT. Although I'm an ATI fen, i think the GT would be better choice.

The 6600GT is so much faster that its 128 bit memory bus doesnt really matter. It has GDDR3!!

So i have 2 for the 6600GT & 1 (just about by the sounds) for the ICEQ. as the 6600gt is £35/$65 cheaper im inclined to now pick that one. Am a bit worried by the lack of a cool exhaust cooling system the iceq has. will overheating even be an issue on the 6600gt?

6600gt:

9800 ICEQ:

Get the X800XL if you can spen that.
If your budget is around the 250, go for the 6800LE

A 3000+ 64bits AMD will do.
Take with that a nice ASUS mobo deluxe, and you're on your way.
(with 400MHZ ram ofc)
If you buy new ram, go to a shop and buy the value select 2X512, chances are to almost an 100% that it will be indenticals (Twinx). Good for dual channel
Then buy some cheap passive ram-cooling.

My bro got a +3200, went from 2.0GHZ to 2.5GHZ stable (increased volt to 1.7,ram to 2.7, stock cooling) I wanted to go higher, but my bro was afraid

My guess is he could have taken it to 2.7, but that was pushing it + shortening the live of the CPU drastic.

But a +3000 should be able to run@2.1/2.2GHZ without a prob.
