So I got sick and tired of this card being slow so I clocked it up... But now I'm hitting a barrier... I downloaded ati win flash and saved the bios and now have it open in RaBiT *Radeon Bios Tuner*.. I'm going to look and look some more for a bit before I do anything... *I don't want to fry another one...*

Anyone know of a hardware volt mod for a x1300xt?

Ya seen that.. Thats for the x1300 and x1300pro, this is an x1300xt, its a x1600pro minus the ddr3.

Nope it is exactly X1600Pro. (X1600XT minus the DDR3

Never mind I just finally came by something...

Sounds like the pcb and the voltage parts for the x1300 and x1600 are the same anyways. People were talking about using those exact mods for their x1600s.

So maybe that is what I have to do after all... Hmm now being I recently moved I get to dig out my soldering iron..

X1300XT isnt THAT bad for light to moderate gaming. Once its OCd it turns into a pretty good card, not stellar, but it can hold its own.

Heh I think I'm ordering a x1950xt a new psu and a xeon 3040 for myself here in a week or two.

Then when things tick down again, I'll probably get a 3060 and a P5B Deluxe or P5W...

Just ordered a pci slot fan to help keep that hot air off my card, and some AS5 for my proc, maybe I'll put some on that video card too...Probably going to get a zalman for the x1950xt, and another for my processor though.

And you are right its really not a bad card, it plays everything I have... The only reason I want it faster and I will need a better one all around is I love the graphics in NWN2 and I really want to crank them up... I used to have bad issues with GR:AW but thats gone now that I disabled HDR, it flies at 1280x1024 max settings with no AA *don't even need it so I didn't try with it*
