Scythe Katana or Ninja

So I am still deciding on which to choose.
I have limited it down to these 2.
And yes I know the Ninja is like the best one.

But is it really worth the extra $20 (almost double the price of the Katana) to get it.
I am not going to OC hardcore, but I am going to OC moderately.
Maybe go to 2.8 with my x2 3600+.

get a Arctic Cooler 64 pro it really inexpensive and cools as good as both of those coolers if not better. I know I own an infinity and I see little or not difference between my 64 and infinity and 64 cost half the price.

I would love to get an AC Freezer but I need a universal cooler and from what I know, this is not universal. Am I correct on this?

If so I want a good, but not the best CPU cooler that isnt too expensive.
The ninja is a little expensive so I was looking for something.

* The reason I need universal is bc I currently have the AM2 platform, but if Barcelona doesnt outperform the new C2Ds coming out I am going to get that

look at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835887002

it might look like a butterfly, but it performs pretty good.

It def. does look like a butterfly.
KTR you always come out with these heatsinks I have never heard before.

Do you test them or something?

I personally do not test them, but i read plenty of reviews, especially the brands that are not that popular. I have seen the underdogs out perform and of the popular brands, the problem is that they arent heard about that often.

here are some reviews:http://www.google.com/search?q=ZEROt...ient=firefox-a

the source is from vr zone.

Thanks.
I was looking at the reviews and they seem very impressive.

Just out of curiousity how does this outperform the Ninja.
Is it bc its all copper and the ninja isnt?
I just find it odd that a huge cooler gets outperfomed by a smaller one

System Specs

huge = more heat it can absorb = harder to expel that heat (need strong fans)...

small = less heat it can absorb = easier to expel that heat

so you need balance between the two...ie: a medium, such has the BTF90.

Copper heatsinks are able to handle faster and more heat-intensive processors better than their aluminum counterparts, Cu almost have double the heat transfer than Al.

I am going to get this and it seems like a really nice heatsink.

Its not too big (that is why I couldnt decide if I should get the ninja or not) and it is easier to install.

Thanks KTR for the help.

Just out of curiousity what are some other non-known heatsinks that are good?
I always like reading up on this stuff.

I was just looking at Frostytech and the Apack is rated better than the Akasa Evo you showed me before. (Sweet)

One last question before I order this with my x2 3600 combo.

Is the fan replaceable (just in case it dies)?

Looks like a good heatsink, but it doesnt say that its LGA 775 compatable which stinks.
