i guess they are going for the laptop versus notebook classification here, because there have been plenty of battery powered computers that use two 7950gtx that are faster than the 7950gt. the 7900gtx is prolly faster than the 7950gt also (all of these are the go/notebook subset of course)

back comes the day of desktop cpu's in laptops. i know it's a c2d, but i don't think it's a good idea to stick a desktop cpu in a laptop, just my opinion
