You can use web images and combine web images.
As I dont have MS Digital Pro, you can still use if but it would be great if you could also send a screenshot of your work opened in the program with whatever their version of layers is.

I included an example below of what you should do, just in case i wasnt clear enough.

Say for example my signature was the work I was going to submit, as you can see to the right of the screenshot, highlighted in red are all my layers that make up the image.

Thanks for asking ,

I have a question.. My friends and I back in the day used to make videos and stuff, similar to CKY and Jackass, and also just short action flicks, although came out VERY cool, I have some preatty funny moments, and also some scenes that depict current events in time pertaining to the war on terror and such, that have been saved as pictures as well as videos. Could I use any of them? Would they HAVE to be edited, if so, how much? Also, I have a full length DVD that we released, which took us MONTHS to edit and get right using power macs and final cut pro, and pinnacle studio on windows platforms..

you could use images, just no video though.

Yes it needs to be edited,
eg to better emphasise the concept of the societal issue of "the war on terror" you could add in images that display both the emotional, physical and psychological impact of the war on terror

BTW guys, there is no limit to the amount of submissions you make

you don need to be creative to create a good entry.
You just need to experiment and finds something that works for you

We dont go into Photoshop with a set plan, we experiment with as much stuff as possible so that we can have a few options on what the final product will look like

I really don't know, for gaming I have my paging file turned off so everything is forced into ram and therefore runs faster, For Photoshop im thinking I will have to set it to 2-4gigs (For a total of 4-6 gigs) A ready-boost usb drive would help, but I don't have one. I could use my psp...but that has damage written all over it...

i might consider using readyboost. i have a 512 mb stick with 256 free that i've tried before. maybe i can also get my parents or something, but for readyboost you still have to have page file enabled.

If your going into pagefile, your gonna need more ram lol.

Photoshop does not fare well when it goes into page file
You should be fine if you have 2gb though.

My computer runs without a hitch until i hit the 15,000x10,000 pixel mark, then it slows down...But thats mainly due to the processor as well. You need some serious power to be working on images any larger. I have to cut up my artwork into 6 or 8 smaller images just to be able to work on it...
