I'm WAY interested in the 8600gts but i'm more a ATI fanboy than nvidia so i'm going to wait for ati/amd to release there stuff

If it werent for my ATI dedication, this "AD" would have me out running to buy the 8600GTS (hell for about 100 bucks usd more, at the most, I can get the 8800GTS 320mb)

I won't argue with ATI being better in my laptop but I've got to argue Nvidia's desktop drivers are better, I like ATI's hardware.

The 8600's are neutered 7900's with poor performance for the $$$$$. I'd take a big wide pass unless you just gotta have DX-10 on a budget.
