ah..ok i got a 9800 pro that does support these features. Even so when i start the max core or max memory tests i get artifacts straight away and naturally ati tool starts decreasing the core speed. This should not happen as i play games without artifacts and in fact have not touched the cards settings in bios. Why does artifacts (i presume the yellow dots on the furry cube thing are artifacts) appear at the default setting and how do i correct this?

p.s ive searched the forums and there doesnt seem to be an answer... i also get the init subsequent error message on attempting to start a test
