Alcopone if you think we can make something really let me know LOL. My gskill is going back Im not sure if I will see a difference mine will do DDR 1180 at 55515t2 2.35v and uses the same Micron D9 chips as these. The difference is mine are faster at DDR 800 44412 t2 2.0v and the warranty only covers them up to 2.1v. These are faster at over DDR 1066 55412 t2 and will do up to DDR 1200 but to do it need 2.5v and the warranty covers them up to 2.35v. Also both these use the D9 micron chips but the Mushkin are supposed to be hand pick and run better under a high fsb. If my old DDR 500 redlines were any indecation of these they were a giant improvement over my Ballistix DDR500 letting me overclock stable at 179 mghz higher on my Opty 170. I'm not sure about this because according to both companies the chips are identical but my Gskill chips won't do DDR 1100 at 55412 3.35v. They will ,however, do 44412t2 at DDR 1066 at 2.3v. to get to over DDR 1066 I need 55515t2. I bet the Muskin will match my ram at the lower end, because Mushkin always leaves all kinds of room underating thier memory. I cannot say for sure because I don't have it yet. They should be here monday. I hate to let these Gskill ram chips go my chips are the newer version with black heat spreaders and black and gold finish. They remind me of Darh Vaders armor. They would be great for a C2D system LOL. I bought them when they were 129.00 a week later they were 119.00. They were 250.00 3 months a ago Wow!!!!! The thing is even if I wanted to Ebay them I would lose at least 20.00 minimum. So back they go. If anyone in the UK wants my week old ram let me know before they are returned. I will sell them at cost you pay the shipping but let me know by Monday best ram I ever owned. Soon to be second best to the Mushkin I bet and I bet my 6000+ runs stable at over 3.550ghz with them.

Don't buy this ram I've never seen heatsinks made so poorly and i've owned mushkin ram with ice burg heat spreaders and this version of the Ice burg heatspreader are total crap they fell off with almost no pressure and desinigrated in my hand.

mushkin tried to tell me I pushed too hard and get this they said never push on the heatsinks only the sides. The sides at the top are only exposed a mm at most and the side of the chip are impossible to use to get ddr 2 chips in the slots. I barely touched them and they bent and literally collapsed. They felt like an aluminum can thats how weak they were. My old Redlines with the same heatsinks but made better didn't do this at all. After they slid off they chipped one of my ram clips on my motherboard because they are so sharp. I was pissed had to super glue it back on.
