Has anyone here got guildwars yet? I have and I love it, let me know as we are expanding our gaming guild into GuildWars.

It's on my wishlist for next month. A friend has it and I saw it there, looked good and it's free which is a bonus compared to monthly subscription games out there.

I have it, but don't play it much because I hate having only 8 slots for spells, and have to go inside a town just to change what spell is in what slot, thats so lame. Even WoW is better than that. The graphics are good, but EQ2's graphics are just as good or maybe even better with the right hardware. It's good that it is free because I might have already trashed it.

hmmm... Free online play? It's why I haven't played WOW ... my game time is limited and I can't justify paying for something I will hardly use .... Morlak is that the only thing you dislike about the game?

Yeah just the spell slots in GuildWars. The graphics in GW are very nice, I played beta weekends and bought it the day it came out (hoping they would fix the slots), oh well. My wife likes WoW, but it looks too much like a cartoon for me. WoW is ok, I just play characters with my wife when she plays. I have not leveled very far in WoW; One character is level 26, the others are levels 4-12.

EQ2 is by far my favorite. Ive been playing EQ for years though so Im jaded. My main character in EQ2 is 44. I have not played it much the past month. I just logged in to say hi to some friends, and logged out. Not much fun without my X850 lol.

I have to add since my original post, I have started liking WoW a lot more. I started a new character (same class), on a different server (Realm) with some old EQ friends, and I am having a blast with it. Took about 4 days to reach level 22, and the equipment on him is 4x better than the equipment I had on my original main. Leveling with old on-line friends that you know what to expect of, and trust, makes the task super-simple easy and loads of fun. My wife likes it even more now than she used to because of the group of instant friends lol. I'll eventually try GW again, but having too much fun with WoW.

Go to http://station.sony.com and you can see all of SOE's online games, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, SWG, Planetside, etc etc. I started playing EverQuest in 99, and still play Online Adventures (PS2 version). Everquest II is still fairly new. The first big expansion will be in September of this year. Any flavor of EQ, just like all other MMO's, is very very addictive.

I played Final Fanatasy on both PS2 and PC, many versions upto and including the last one. I'll just say I disagree with it being the "best". Hard to say that if you have never played the others. All of Sony's MMORPG games are PC based except the EQOA (only on PS2). Currently I am playing a ton of WoW, and a character I just started several weeks ago is now a level 38. It's still "new" to me, and thats the coolest part. The thing I really like is the scripting part to WoW. Using the LuA programming language you can make your character pretty much do anything you want (withing blizzard rules that is).

I canceled my subscription to Final Fanatasy a long time ago. I only played the latest game for about six months. I never liked the combat engine in it, or any FF game for that matter.

yea u r plenty right , a long long time past which i play & buy console games , & my fav ones were ff series from first ver till 8 (nostalgic siiigh....,) i even buy ver8 for pc n ps together.

some rpg games like Legend of legia , Breath of fire & one of the best "Grandia"
&olders like zelda &... they were all great .

& so, as u said , when i didn't paly any new title , i haven't right to compare 'em.

btw. is there any where a very quite well,simple,brief explanation of rpg-variety

i know some of them & read some very weird description on 'em but they were dizzy n dim.
