It gets too hot when over clocked, and I cannot afford a better graphics card. =( When I get some $ I'm just gonna buy a new PC and use this one as an extra.

I have killed 2 CPUs and 4 video cards...
on stock voltage it isn't vary likely you will kill a CPU unless temps are too high

That's still too much, Wile E. I've only killed 1 video card (see below) and 1 cpu (Celeron 700 @ 1050 -due to overheating).
Anyone want to rate my previous rig: Sempron 2400+ @ 2.2Ghz Asrock K7VT4A+ 512MB DDR PC3200 Radeon 9500 64MB n/p softmodded to 8 pipes 120GB hdd SB Live! NEC MultiSync 21" Cheapo @Power 500W PSU |

Not too shabby. Good old fashioned Socket A rig there!
I'd give it a 8/10. |

I'd love 3GHz but it's an F-2 not an F-3 stepping. Only F-3s can go above that 2.9GHz wall
8.5/10 for you until I see some overclocks coming out of that cpu |

@ pos PC
I can understand the stock cooling comment, but there is nothing wrong with having a 7600GT. Not all computers are built with gaming in mind. For my rig, it's an afterthought.

*Media decoding/playback: cant decode HD media, so any modern CPU makes that feature useless ( a 1GHz P3 can play a DVD movie in software without a hint of lag, in pure software) *Gaming/CAD/3D work: very low end by todays standards, almost not worth it. *Office work: onboard uses less power and generates less heat/noise You can find a flaw with it in every configuration! ![]() Of course i'm messing around here. i am not being serious, just pointing out that for the uses many people have today (HD media and gaming being the top two that use a graphics card) the 7600GT is quite poor. but who cares, if it wasnt good enough for you, you'd already have upgraded it!

^ 9/10 The only thing that really kept you from higher in my book is the OCZ PSU I guess. You got major bonus points for the lapped hardware tho.

i dont get what people have against the OCZ's... they go on about all these problems, but none have ever failed me and they always run great. yeah they arent that quiet, but thats why i replace the fans in every one.
