I'd say it depends on the other accessories, like sound cards, monitors and such. 8.8/10. Needs a video update and more clocking.

I know it needs a lot of updates just thought you might like the number of cores on it and those old school phenoms don't clock to well...

I was hoping you'd rate me based on hardware and not how far I can push the rig. As far as lappy I am not too familiar, but seems good to me, you get 8/10

lol, yeah - I'm itching to replace it but I'm having a hard time deciding on which route I'm going to take - 5970 vs 5870 vapor-x model, or a 5870 2GB model.

Or just hang out until the end of the year and wait for the 'revisions'....

I know they can. I have had them higher but i like to keep my volts around 1.6v but i have them running at ~1500 with the new OC on the CPU.I forgot to update the ram speed
