PSU lives after all???

My PSU decided to die when I was flying in FSX before

I tried to boot straight back up but it wasnt having it, I disconnected the power cable and let it discharge from mobo for 5 mins and even took out the cmos battery, plugged back in then still nothing, dug out my old 500w/18a and all was fine!

Sent a email off to supplier for RMA, etc..

30-60mins later something twigged in my head to try it again and shut down and hooked up dead psu and it worked??? And is still working now, has anyone ever had this, is it a sign the PSU is dieing? Its only 3 weeks old and has been rock solid until today!

Should I send it back or what should I do?

Yeah I agree with you but for 20 squid I thought I had a bargain, guess I was sucked in by the "we've tried the rest now use the best" bullshit lol

I thought with 600w/32a it was a steal, its stable now, if it happens again I will defo send it back for RMA, it was just running so sweet for 3 weeks solid

Actually... some PSUs take way longer than 5 minutes to discharge-i mean we are talking about around 10 hours.
