Biostar Introduces T-series TP35D3-A7 Deluxe Motherboard
BIOSTAR Microtech released today its top of the line solution for LGA 775 socket - TP35D3-A7 Deluxe motherboard. The Biostar T-series TP35D3-A7 Deluxe is based on Intel P35 + ICH9R chipsets with support for DDR3-1333/1066/800MHz modules and has a special 8 phase voltage regulator power design. This model features 100% solid capacitors, 4x DDR3 DIMMs (max. support up to 8GB), 1x PCIe x16 and 3x PCIe x1 slots and works with all Intel Core 2 Duo/Core 2 Quad/Celeron 400 Series processors (1333MHz FSB). The board uses a heat-pipe to conduct heat from the chipset heatsink to a PWM fin-heatsink collection module. The TP35D3-A7 Deluxe has also included 2x E-SATA and 6x USB 2.0 ports to support more devices.

Does anyone else think this looks a lot like an ASUS board?

Its somewhat a reference design from Intel so its supposed to look identical.
On the other hand Benchmarks that rise around the internet indicate that the p35 is up to 10% faster than the P965/975 chipsets...Is it worth getting now ? I doubt it

Looks like a nice clean board.. DFI & Asus had a baby.. But non the less it still looks clean.. The only thing i really see at first is the stacked SATA's.. Having them so close can make it tough to remove the SATAII cable.. My board flips the SATA's so that the release clips are on opposite sides and ez to release.. This one stacks them so the release clips sit right under the above SATAII cable.. That and the RAM looks to be a little cramped, but still a fine looking board and good lay out..

Yeah i wont buy a board with sideways sata ports - god, its so damned useless.
I have enough trouble with regular sata, getting the cords in and out of an assembled system - those sideways ones are useless in the majority of cases, UNLESS theres a removable hard drive tray right above them.
