hot cpu temps, need help choosing cooler

My x2 +5200 gets 51c idle and when im gaming like 65c im using amd's stock cooler.

The point is that when it gets an high temp my pc shuts off first i tought it was my vid card but if im running cod2 at 640x480 its still shutting off so i think its the cpu.

I was thinking of buying this cooler http://www.azerty.nl/8-81-4585/freezer-64-pro.html
i can spent about 30 euro so are there any other recomendations?

That should be fine for what you are doing, will even give a little head room for overclocking, but that is probably the best replacement for stock at the price.

The Freezer 64 Pro is probably one of the best performance per $$$ heatsinks out there. I lapped the base on mine and added an extra 92mm fan on the back (push pull) and was getting very impressive numbers. It was performing better than heatsinks that cost 2 to 3 times as much.

The freezer is a very good choice. BUT, the stock cooler should be doing a better job. You can buy the best cooler there is and if the airflow is bad in your case its not gonna help much.

I would improve the airflow in your case first before getting a different cooler.

Is the fan on your stock cooler spinning good?
Are the fins of your heatsink full (I mean REALLY full) of dust?
Does the comp run cooler with the case side panel on or off?
Does your case have intake/exhaust fans?

Can you post a pict of the side view of ur comp?
