d44ve's Bi-Weekly Give-A-Way Thread
OK.... so I was sitting here thinking about all the stuff I have laying around here that I have NO USE for what so ever. I thought to myself, why not give it away? So here it goes.... here is whats up.
First off, the stuff I am giving away is to go to someone that needs it to either upgrade his system or something that person does not already have. I would rather someone who needs this to help his\her system out just a little bit longer until they can upgrade. Second, I am not charging anything. Shipping I am going to take care of. If you want to pay for shipping, thats great... but not a must. Although on the larger items like PSU's and what not, it is appreciated. Shipping is going to be just regular Parcel Post with no insurance or delivery confirmation. Sorry you guys out of the states, I am going to have to exclude you on this one. Third, everything I am giving away is to be considered NOT working. In all likely hood it will work, and I will even state weather or not I tested it and if it works. But after it goes in the mail.... I will not make any promises. Now the stuff that I am giving away are not high end parts. Just stuff that I have laying around that I am sure someone could use to upgrade their existing system to help make it last a little bit longer. This is not an essay contest to see who can beg better than someone else. Its not about that. I will try to do this on the 1st and 15th of the month. If anyone else wants to give away something, please feel free to use this thread. I may give away more than just twice a month.... we will see. Also, this isn't a request thread.... Thats sweet man. If you could hook me up with a pcie card so I can move on to the pcie mobo I bought from zek off tpu that would be great. Than when I save up some money I can get a better card.

i could use the ram for my gf pc she has 1 stick of 512 and 1 stick of 128 which blows she needs to be at a gig of ram for her apps like photoshop and illustator

I'm off to college soon and I'm trying to set up a home server for my folks before I leave. It's entirly from scrap parts and the like. (Athlon XP system).
I don't have any RAM for it though, and I don't really have the money to get it for them, as I just dropped $800 on a laptop and I'm over 10K in dept with my college so far. I'd sure appreciate the RAM.
