You know i'm a computer gamer but my computer is dead and i've been using the 360 for my gaming. Its a good system and i enjoy it even though i'd rather have a pc. The one thing i've noticed was people constantly talking about sending their consoles back to microsoft. I was in a game of R6 Vegas and everyone there was talking about being on their 2nd or in one case 8th console. he owned 2 xbox's for this purpose...he had one that would work and the other one would be out on service. He just kept rotating.

The quality of the xbox is junk. Its a lot like windows in the fact that when it works its awesome but when it doesn't its just downright angering. maybe microsoft should have made a solid AMERICAN built piece of machinery. I would have paid the extra couple of hundred bucks for an american made product.
PS - i'm not bashing microsoft only. I just don't ahve anywhere to complain about my week old 80GB ipod that no longer has a working hold button (factory defect).

It seems this Justin Lowe needs to get some AC in his trailor. The poor condition with high heat, dust, and cat fur clogging his 360 is his own fault and should be forced to buy a new 360.

Tell me, where in either article does it say Justin lives in a dusty trailer with cats?

American? bah.

I would just like to ask the forum, for the sake of knowledge, why are americans obsessed w/ everything being made in america?

I mean, generally american products are inferior and much more expensive, can someone elaborate?

How?

The majority of the products that americans consume are made by western countries that do their manufacturing in eastern countries. Its still their product, but it cost less to produce by using cheaper workers, factories, transport etc.

Examples? ATI - Canadian, nVidia - American, Coca Cola - American, Microsoft - American
