FS patriot extreme 2x1 gb ddr800 pc6400 ram memory

selling patriot ram ive had for a few days gonna just stick with my cheapo super talent.

patriot extreme series 2x1gb ddr800

didnt overclock since im running 7 x400 on stock cooling but known to hit almost 1000 mhz.
lifetime warranty.

asking for 90 shipped going for 135 on newegg.

i cant take fulll advantage of the ram since im limited by my stock cooling and my ihs isnt flat.
look at my core temp down in the right bottom corner its 90 ish. so ill just stick to my ddr667 that does 800 just fine.

thats 90f not 90c trust me if it came anywhere near to 90c it would have died an awful death a long time ago

It's not 90f either. Core Temp's reading is just wrong in this case.


EDIT: @tvdang - Your sys specs say you have a 3200+, but the screen is of a Core 2. Did you forget to update your specs, or post the wrong pic?

no it is C look at the core temp program on the left, tried on 2 diff boards and reseated a million times.

Core temp is just wrong. It's not always accurate.

u think so? ive asked people on XS and AT and they all say trust core temp. im thinking its wrong since my computer hasnt crashes yet. and was priming stable. but who knows .

By the look at that pic I say your load is in the range from 55-60c on the cores

Also update your specs.

If those drives are really at 70C all the time they will die. Those Hitachi drives are based on the old IBM Deskstar (aka Deathstar) drives which died from getting too hot.
