LG Unveils 2 New HD/BR Combo Drives
LG unveiled its latest HD/BR Combo drives the HDGGW-H20LI ($500) which reads both HD disc formats while writes at 6x dual-layer BD-R/RE discs as well as DVD±RW and the GGC-H20LI ($400) which can read HD and BR discs but only write DVD±RW and CD-R/RW. The company also bundles 10 free HD movies on either Blu-ray or HD DVD with its BH100 ($1200) but only until July 21st.

500 bucks gets you a bd write/rewriter with the ability to read and play HD-DVDs. That is a sweet deal right there.

That one will be nice, when the price drops to 100$ levels =) Doubt though that there will be any HD or BR games in the near or distant future and DVDs are enough quality for me still
