What would be the best heatsink?

I am want a good HSF for my CPU socket is AM2 CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 x2 4600+ i will be overclocking.I have to have something that will clear the caps close to the CPU and also the 4 pin plug also the back fan.I want to keep it under $60 i don't want a thermal right because of the bracket you also have to buy along with them.Here is a pic of everything that could get in the way.

err... cant understand the pic, but the best air coolers out there would be the thermalright extreme hsf and then tuniq tower, though i have a blue orb on my x2 4600 EE and it keeps it around ~55c during a stress test when it was oced to 3.0 if i remember correctly, though my system has been down for ages so idk if i'm giving you the right temp lol

The pic is just so you can see what has to be cleared by the heatsink.Mine isn't the EE it is the normal 4600+(89w) would someone else recommend a HSF and have a newegg or xoxide link?

if follow that 3rd link, the zalman or the thermalright 90 would probably have more clearance then the huge 120mm coolers

I have the AC Freezer 64 Pro, and i've liked it since i bought it.

It's very easy to install, pretty cool, not loud, and it's pretty cheap for it's capabilities.

Also it's got a 6 year warranty and it's bad by some Swiss guys, you can't go wrong.

Thermalright Ultra-120 is the best... period. CNPS9700s are very ovverated, they are good though but for a bit more i would go with an Ultra-120, add a Noctura fan to it too.

well duh, its established that the thermalright is the best air cooler there. you want a high performance fan. if you want crazy performance, theres a silverstone fan that does like 110 cfm at 39.5 dba

the problem is wheather he has enough clearance for the thermalright or not?

i'm not the right person for that, i just know some of the top notch fans out there, not more then that when it comes to cooling. these are the dimensions of the thermalright: 63.44 x 132.00 x 160.50mm 160 being the height, 63 being the width, and 132 being the length. what mobo do you have?

That is with a sempron not saying much i had my sempron overclocked to 3.1ghz on 1.55v and idle was 31c and that is with a Asus chilly vent lux.

Considering the stock cooler got about 40c idle.. I'd say that's a noticeable improvement.

just whip out a ruler and measure, i mean you have the mobo on you dont you? measure the avaliable space around the cpu socket, the thermalright will hang over you capacitors and junk so just watch out for nearby fans and stuff like that.

mine did idle hot on stock HS also but i also had it overclocked.
