Suggestions for good RAM for Crossfire system setup

I'm building a new rig but not sure which memory will run good with my crossfire setup of my GPUs.

Specs
Intel E6600 2.4ghz
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Antec Trupower Quattro 850 watt
2x Asus Hd 2900XT 512mb
2x 250GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 16mb

I was thinking of getting the OCZ ati crossfire edition 2x1024 kit but not many stores have it in stock...hence this thread, can anyone suggest any other possible memory that will go good with this system setup??

Crossfire doesn't require any special memory, Crossfire/SLI ready memory is just marketing, it has no meaning.

I second what Dan says. All you do is pay more for the name.

Questions: Do you plan to overclock? Where are you from?

Ah, australia, I always have such a hard time trying to find stuff for you guys. lol. You really need a Newegg type store over there.

For ram, I suggest either Crucial Ballistix or G.Skills with the black heat spreaders. Either of them have Micron D9 chips. You can usually get the Crucials in 667Mhz for a cheaper price, and they still clock well over 1000Mhz in most cases. My 800Mhz Ballistix will do up to 1200Mhz.

No, G.Skills all the way. lol. Corsair has stopped using the good chips in many of their lines. They have reduced themselves to an overrated and overpriced brand.

Missed this one. Perfectly stable, no hiccups. To add to this, @2.4V, I can run 1066Mhz 4-4-4-12, tho I don't recommend running 2.4v 24/7.

You won't be disappointed. They make great memory, for a reasonable price. I had G.Skills before this, and it was very good memory, despite the fact that they were from one of their lower lines. Had Promos chips, and still clocked to 1100Mhz without breaking a sweat.

So G.Skill isnt there so many lines of memory from them...which one would be good besides from the timing indications

The color of the heat spreader gives it away. Black=Micron D9's The part number will also end in HZ on the D9 models.
