I guess this is gaming.. but kinda hardware.
My p.c has been running smoothly untill yesterday, all of a sudden, music and WOW are REALLY slow and glitchy. I have no clue why. Iv'e Defragged and other than that i can't think whats up. Even typing now the p.c isnt keeping up with me
 Please help me out!

well you gotta give us details here, but it might be a background application, virus, tray application, and plenty of other things, but almost all in the branches of the ones I listed. PC specs, maybe applications you think can cause it, anything will help us tell you what's wrong. But what you can do first is right click the taskbar and click task manager, look for an application taking up processing power or an application taking up a lot of RAM if you don't have a lot. Maybe your sound card is crapping out if your sound sucks, but you said your typing too so that's what I was explaining.

Definitely sounds like some kind of spyware, adware, whateverware. Have you run any anti-spyware program such as Spybot or Adaware?

I think it sounds like spyware or some other program hogging the cpu too.
But a long shot could be something like awry with your harddrive or harddrive cables. My system was responding very slowly for a long time and I checked for the obvious things like spyware but when I replaced the haddrive of the system I found out that 1 pin on the IDE harddrive had broken off and another was pushed inward, into the drive, so it wasn't making contact with the IDE cable. You might want to double check to see if your cables are all pushed in snuggly, making good contact. But definately look for spyware/virus/software trouble first. |

Go into task manager and see what your cpu usage is...if its like 50% or some wierd percentage even though your not doing anything, thats usally a good sign of spyware, adware, malware, or "whateverware" as Polaris573 said lol. And the programs he said also, I agree with strongly with them.
