An official trailer for the game is available on Activision's public ftp server.

To download, through your web browser, go here. The movie is available in high, med, and low quality as a Quicktime .mov file. You'll have to navigate to the ET:Quake War trailer folder.


The trailer shows an impressive water effect, smoke effects, and outdoor battle scenes with vehicles.

ET: Quake Wars is a highly anticipated online multiplayer game based on the Doom 3 game engine that involves large outdoor scenes, vehicles, and 5 classes for a player to choose from. Gameplay is probably based loosely on the original Enemy Territory - a popular, free WW2 themed online game - where a team has to complete objectives to win a match, while the opposing team defends the objectives and has objectives of its own to do.

ET: Quake Wars will not be released as a free game like its predecessor, and the trailer vaguely says the game will be available in 2006.
