7600 GT... weird lines across screen.

Ok, I have a nvidia 7600 GT, latest drivers... EVERYTHING is set as it should be... atleast... i think so...

7600's require around a recommended 350 watt power supply if im not mistakin. I have around a 400 watt power supply. After about 10 minutes of playing halo... I get these weird lines, pixels of different colors, and flashes of pink and blue horizontal lines about 1 inch thick every 5 seconds or so. My card requires (im not sure about this) around 22 amps. My computer packs 30 amps.

Ive tried install different drivers. I even took it to the PC store. Their lame excuse was that a setting was wrong. (I personally think something is wrong with the PSU) Ive also tried installing different cards, including the 8600 gts, and i still get the same results. The only card that works is my 7300 LE...

Ive installed both cards on my friend's computer, who has lower wattage and amps as me... but it works!

Sorry, this paragraph wasn't written very well, and wasn't organized at all.

PLEASE HELP

Motherboard issue? hell no

You are overheating your memory card. That is why you are artifacting. I would return the card to where you bought it and exchange it for a new one.

The 7600 is overclocked, but the 8600 gts isn't, and im getting the same problems with both.

And my computer is a dell... (hopefully i can get a new computer.... but in the meantime...) so i have no idea what my motherboard is... maybe a dell motherboard??? lol

ok how about this...Fill out the system specs in the userCP section , Also if possible take some screen shots of these "artifacts"!

And both questions previously asked are very important, so please try to be as specific as possible!

My specs are in my first post.

I can't take screens of my "artifacts." The picture comes out normally.

its obviousley an over heating issue if its fine until 10mins in, have you checked your temps ? how are they also have you got any oc on the card?

slight possibility it could be your psu what are the specs? (amperage on the +12v rail/s )

after reading first post more carefully, sounds like you havent got the power requirements to run them as your 7300 runs fine, try and get the specs of your psu plz
